While MTMPay will process eligible account deletion requests in accordance with applicable laws, deletion of an account does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all associated information. Certain records may continue to be retained where required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, taxation, accounting, audit, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), fraud prevention, dispute resolution, cybersecurity, law enforcement, or other statutory obligations.

To help us verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorized requests, please provide:

- Registered Email Address (if applicable)

Before processing any account deletion request, MTMPay may require verification of the account holder’s identity.
This verification process helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests and protects user accounts from misuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
Upon successful verification of the account holder, MTMPay will review and process the account deletion request.
Account deletion requests are generally processed within 7 to 15 business days, although processing times may vary depending on regulatory, legal, compliance, or operational requirements.
Once the account deletion request is approved:
Subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements, the following information may be deleted:
- User profile information
- Contact information
- Login credentials
- Account preferences
- Non-regulatory personal information
- Marketing communication preferences
As a financial services platform, MTMPay is subject to various legal, regulatory, compliance, fraud prevention, taxation, anti-money laundering (AML), audit, and record-keeping obligations. Accordingly, certain information may be retained even after account deletion where required by applicable laws:

- Recharge and bill payment history
- Gift voucher purchase records
- KYC records
- PAN verification records
- Identity and address verification records
- Compliance and audit records
- Fraud prevention and security records

MTMPay may retain certain records for the duration required under:

Retention of such information does not mean that the account remains active.
